I recently, as in yesterday recently, signed up for Rogers high speed internet. Bell Sympatico service had been good for me, but with my BlackBerry being on Rogers, and now my home phone, getting the internet allows me to receive an additional 10% savings per month off of each service via the bundle option, and that can add up to some nice change.
Rogers high speed customers can download, free of charge, Norton 2006 security products such as AntiVirus, Firewall, and Anti-Spyware. I had been using Avast for antivirus and ZoneAlarm for my firewall, and although those two products seemed to work well (for being free), I have now installed the free Norton products. By the way, these products are valued at nearly $100 CAD and for Rogers to offer them free really shows their willingness to help us all battle viruses, spyware, and hackers.
