It’s been a week since I made the move from iOS to Android, so from iPhone 5s to the Galaxy S5. First off, the similar naming schemes is quite confusing.
I have enjoyed iOS but really wanted to give Android another shot as my last device was the Galaxy S2 and I wasn’t overly impressed. I also wanted a bigger screen size, something I have resisted for a long time. But the more I use my mobile device for everything from messaging to camera to music to the Internet, the more I wanted a larger screen.
The Galaxy S5 meets my needs for a larger screen while maintaining the slimness and lightweight necessary to be able to carry it in my pockets with ease. Android Kitkat 4.4 is much more polished than previous versions. I also enjoy the level of customisation available in the Android system.
Two of my favourite things are the screen size and the 16mp camera. The screen is simply a pleasure to look at, and the camera takes the best pictures I have ever had with a mobile device.
