Marketplace: Microsoft’s move to openness
Microsoft released a mobile version of Office for iPhone a few months back but it wasn’t free and only available for Office 365 users.
Today’s announcement now makes Office available free for iPhone and Android. The iPad version is free to use to view various Office files, but also has a premium option to edit or create new Office type files directly on the iPad.
