Skype today announced their connection fees for all SkypeOut calls, except if you are on the U.S. and Canada unlimited calling plan. These connection fees will be a one time charge for every SkypeOut call made to any mobile or landline number. The charges will be based on the currency selected for your Skype account. For Canada, the rate, including VAT, will be $0.068 per call, while our neighbours to the south will incur $0.045.
With these new connection fees, the unlimited calling plan looks even more appealing, especially if you sign up by the end of this month for the 50% savings.
