Owner information on a BlackBerry could be one of the least utilized functions on the device. I’ve always stressed the importance of this information in the event you misplace your device, but now I see another purpose.
This space can also be used to list emergency contact information, such as a name and number. We all know if there is one thing always with us, it’s our BlackBerry device, so why not use the same device as our “wallet” in the event of an emergency.
To update your owner information, simple go to Options from your main screen, then scroll to Owner. Be careful not to make your information too lengthy as it may not display in its entirety on your device’s display, depending on the model you have.
