I recently posted about trying out Norton since it is free with my Rogers high speed internet service. Well, once again, I have uninstalled Norton as I find it slows down my computer too much. I am back to using Avast for my antivirus needs and ZoneAlarm for my firewall, both of which offer free versions.
The combination of Avast and ZoneAlarm seem to be less of a burden on my computer than the bundled version of Norton. By the way, if you choose to install these two pieces of software, I recommend installing ZoneAlarm first, then Avast.
