Time Magazine’s person of the year is ME! I haven’t prepared a thank you speech, but let me try. Thank you to all of my blog readers, the few and proud.
Ok, maybe it’s just not me that won, but you, and you, and you have also won. The YOU refers to all the people who now control information, us! Personally speaking, I follow more technology blogs than go to CNN’s technology section, and blogs are a big part of this “you” strategy. That along with sites like MySpace and YouTube have thrust us all into the spotlight.
Information is shared across countries with the greatest of ease. No longer are we dependent on the traditional media to show us what is happening in any part of the world. The cool part is that this is only bound to expand. As more people in more places get broadband (high speed) internet, the easier it will be for people to share thoughts, ideas, videos, and the easier it will be for people to enjoy.
